I have downloaded multiple templates for the lip balms and have not been able to get any of them to print correctly. I have also tried to find your online creation tool, but it doesn’t seem to be on your site. If I cannot get these to work, I will have to return or throw them out.
Dear customer,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Would you mind providing us with more information about how the template is not printing correctly? Is it misaligned in a certain direction?
Cordialement,
Mr-Label
I’m trying to create lip balm labels. Ive tried Canva and Microsoft. Neither of them are aligning correctly. Is there something I’m doing or is the template not done correctly?
Dear tosadostephanie,
You can check your printer setting and Word settings to make sure the paper size is US letter size, and you can try unchecking the box of “Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11” paper size” from File>Options>Advanced>Print
If there are other problems please feel free to let us know.
If you run into issues with alignment you have to print to pdf and open in a PDF viewer like Adobe. Do not print directly from the Internet browser. And then make sure your print settings are not shrinking to fit. And you should have no problems.
Best Regards
Mr-Label
After reading all 6 comments and your company’s suggestions, NOTHING works. How do we get these lip balm labels to align properly for print? It shouldn’t be so difficult. It should be design, print and go when using your Canva template. Please advise.
Dear billpay408,
Thank you for reaching out regarding the issue you’re experiencing with labels printing askew from the PDF template. We understand how important it is for your labels to print correctly and would like to offer some suggestions to resolve this problem.
Check Printer Settings:
Ensure that the printer settings match the label sheet size exactly. Verify that the paper size and type are correctly set in the printer settings.
Make sure the printer is set to 100% scale or “Actual Size” in the print dialog box. Avoid any “Fit to Page” or scaling options that may alter the alignment.
Adjust Paper Tray Guides:
Ensure that the paper guides in the printer tray are snug against the label sheets. Loose guides can cause the paper to feed unevenly, resulting in misaligned prints.
Printer Maintenance:
Clean the printer rollers to remove any dust or debris that might be affecting the paper feed.
Ensure that the printer rollers are in good condition and are gripping the label sheets properly.
Print a Test Page:
Print a test page on plain paper first to check the alignment. Hold the test print up to the label sheet to see if the alignment matches. This can help identify any adjustments needed before printing on the actual label sheets.
Software Settings:
If using Adobe Acrobat or another PDF reader, check the print settings to ensure there are no automatic adjustments being made that could affect alignment.
If the problem persists after trying these suggestions, please let us know. We can provide further assistance or offer additional troubleshooting steps.
Best regards,
Mr-Label
The canva link isn’t work
Dear dsquaredesg,
Thank you for reaching out. I have checked the link to the Canva template, and it appears to be accessible.
Could you please provide more details on how you are experiencing issues with it? This information will help us assist you more effectively.
Best regards
all of the canva templets say error link no longer exists
Dear umar,
Thank you for your patience. A few days ago, Canva made some updates to the sharing features for template links, which caused certain templates to become inaccessible. I’m pleased to inform you that this issue has now been resolved.
If you are still experiencing any difficulties accessing the templates, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for further assistance.
Thank you for your understanding!
Best regards
Since I use an Apple Mac I simply created my own template by placing non-printing guide lines on the page
For Pages version 10.1 …
1. open a word processing document in the Pages application
2. Under the View menu select ‘Show Rulers’
3. click-hold on the top, or left, ruler and drag toward the middle of the page. This will cause movable guide lines to move onto the page. They show up as yellow lines that you can see on the page but they do not print on paper. You can move these guide lines to whatever position you need.
For Pages version 14.2 …
1. Open a new word processing document
2. Under the ‘View’ menu select ‘Show Ruler’. This will show a ruler across the top.
3. Under the ‘File’ menu select ‘Conver to Page Layout’, this cause a ruler to appear on the left side.
4. Click-hold on the top, or left, ruler and drag toward the middle of the page. This will cause movable guide lines to move onto the page. They show up as yellow lines that you can see on the page but they do not print on paper. You can move these guide lines to whatever position you need.
Now move those guide lines to where you need them.
Now save your blank document to make copies and create pages as needed.
